Message from the President

As incoming president, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back to the

Nortown Amateur Radio Club. It is a great honour to have been elected and I

look forward to the challenge of seeing that the club continues to prosper.

Your executive has provided an interesting agenda for the coming year.

Below are a few topics of interest:

Field Day 2012

Field day at Utopia was again a success this year. We had twelve people out,

and operated at four alpha. Results will not be in for a couple of months, but I

can say that as usual those present shared in lots of fun and fellowship.

Repeater Project

We have it up and running. We have Echo Link running. And as with any new product there are some wrinkles but we will address and fix.

Nortown Website

Our website has a new section where members can advertise equipment for sale.

I invite you to check it out.

Meeting Presentations

We are committed to having at least one interesting radio-related presentation at

each meeting. We are always open to new and varied topics to be pursued and I

would urge all of you to make your ideas known on the membership application

form.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone in the near future.
